Hoarding Warehouse supplied a full Clip-to-Scaffold system to a contractor working at Fir Vale School in Sheffield.
A 118 linear metre run of dual-faced 2.5m high PVC hoarding was built to allow the safe separation of pupils within the school grounds.
We sent a sample of the white PVC panel system and an installation guide for approval by the contracting team and the school before the order was placed. The system was expertly installed on site by the client team as the photographs show.
The weatherproof hoarding was put to the test almost immediately as high winds and heavy showers affected the site during the installation. The hoarding was impervious, but our brave photographer had a torrid time during the first site visit.
Specification & Build
Components
Our 2.5m high Clip-to-Scaffold PVC hoarding system was delivered to site from Hoarding Warehouse and assembled by our customer’s team.
We supplied a full range of system components including 472 Clip-to-Scaffold panels and precise quantities of scaffold poles, clamps and joints, and top and bottom PVC Channels.
All system components are reusable, with Zero Waste diverted to Landfill Sites.

Secure Access
Three sets of single personnel doors were built into the hoarding to allow authorised access through the partition wall. The doors feature digi-lock entry pads to limit entry.
Result
We received very positive feedback from the contractor who was impressed by the modular, easy-fit system. Despite the challenging weather, the Clip-to-Scaffold hoarding was completed on time before the school re-opened in September to begin the new academic year.
